Vad är tolerans i engineering?

Eftersom en trasig del av en maskin kan tas bort och ersättas med samma egenskaper och lättillgängliga som färdigfrån marknaden, möjligheten att göra maskinen arbetet omedelbart garanteras. Utan byggandet av reservdelar, kan inte en modern industri existera. Utan att göra-dimensionering, kan inte reservdelar göras.
