Vynález kalendáře

Kalendáře jsou časové rozvrhy, kde je čas zobrazen v pravidelných pořadí podle roků, měsíců, týdnů a dnů. Kalendáře jsou upraveny podle astronomických pozorování na obloze. Dvě nejdůležitější vozidla Sky pozorování pro lidstvo byly pohyby slunce a měsíce.

 

V minulosti Babylon poprvé použil kalendář. Babylonský kalendář, přijatý jako první kalendář, používal lunární kalendář, který byl také používán v islámské říši. Lunární kalendář byl kalendář založený na období 29,5 dní mezi dvěma úplňky měsíce. Podle lunárního kalendáře, rok je 354 dní.
