L'invention du lave-vaisselle

Parmi les appareils de cuisine utilisés de nos jours, l'une des inventions qui sont peut-être le plus relaxant et de faciliter leur travail est le lave-vaisselle. En 1850, Joel Houghton a reçu un brevet sur une machine faite de bois, avec une main tournant sur les plaques et l'eau de éclaboussures. Ce fut le premier brevet sur l'invention du lave-vaisselle. La machine n'était pas très utile et ne voyait aucun intérêt sur le marché. Et plus tard?

 

Qui a inventé le lave-vaisselle?

 

Les femmes prennent habituellement soin du travail de vaisselle. C'était assez ennuyeux et c'était une femme qui s'est mis à l'idée de le rendre plus facile à répéter tous les jours. Josephine Cochran a terminé son travail en 1886, en disant: «si quelqu'un ne fait pas un lave-vaisselle, je vais le faire moi-même.» Quand il a inventé le lave-vaisselle, il a passé près de 10 ans à emprunter de l'argent de l'héritage de son mari et de ses amis.

 

Josephine Cochran a fondé une compagnie appelée KitchenAid pour produire un lave-vaisselle. Il a inventé le lave-vaisselle dans la Foire du monde, qui a eu lieu en 1893. Mais le lave-vaisselle n'a pas montré beaucoup d'intérêt excepté les hôtels et les restaurants. Il a produit des modèles différents, fonctionnant avec la vapeur pour l'utilisation de la mécanique de ménage, des hôtels et des restaurants pour la première fois.

 

Un journal publié à l'époque a dit que le lave-vaisselle de Cockran «lavé et même séché 20 douzaines de plaques en deux minutes.»

 

L'utilisation généralisée du lave-vaisselle à la maison n'était pas possible avant 1950 ans.
