A invenção da máquina de lavar louça

Entre os utensílios de cozinha usados hoje em dia, uma das invenções que são talvez o mais relaxante e facilitando o seu trabalho é a máquina de lavar louça. Em 1850, Joel Houghton recebeu uma patente em uma máquina feita de madeira, com uma mão girando sobre as placas e espirrando água. Esta foi a primeira patente sobre a invenção da máquina de lavar louça. A máquina não foi muito útil e não viu nenhum interesse no mercado. E depois?

 

Quem inventou a máquina de lavar louça?

 

As mulheres geralmente cuidam do trabalho de lavar louça. Foi muito chato e foi uma mulher que se estabeleceu com a idéia de torná-lo mais fácil de repetir todos os dias. Josephine Cochran completou seu trabalho em 1886, dizendo: "se alguém não faz uma máquina de lavar louça, eu vou fazê-lo sozinho". Quando ele inventou a máquina de lavar louça, ele passou quase 10 anos emprestando dinheiro da herança de seu marido e seus amigos.

 

Josephine Cochran fundou uma empresa chamada KitchenAid para produzir uma máquina de lavar louça. Ele inventou a máquina de lavar louça na feira mundial, que foi realizada em 1893. Mas a máquina de lavar louça não mostrou muito interesse, exceto Hotéis e restaurantes. Produziu modelos diferentes, trabalhando com vapor para o uso de mecânicos domésticos, hotéis e restaurantes pela primeira vez.

 

Um jornal publicado na época disse que a máquina de lavar louça de Cockran "lavou e até secou 20 dúzias de pratos em dois minutos."

 

O uso generalizado da máquina de lavar louça em casa não era possível até 1950 anos.
