Hvordan staver du romertall?

Romerne utviklet tallene ved å gjenta noen symboler før de gamle egypterne gjordemange år siden.

 

Deres tallverdier er som følger; Jeg = 1, V = 5, X = 10, L = 50, C = 100, D = 500, M =1000

Største og lengste nummeret skrives med romertallet er "3888 ″. (MMMDCCCLXXXVIII)

 

Ikke for ofte, men når de trenger større tall, de trekke en linje for å øke verdien av bokstavene "1000 ″ ganger.

 

Brev verdiene på line er som følger; V = 5000, X = 10000, L = 50000, C = 100000, D= 500000, M = 1000000
