A világ hét csodája, Alexandria világítótorony egyiptomi Alexandriában található. Alexandria az Egyiptom mediterrán partjának második legnagyobb városa.
Alexandria városát felfedezte és alapította az Alexander Nagy 382-én. A város az Alexander Nagy neve, aki szintén az alapító.
A város nagy könyvtáráról ismert, amely a világ hét csodája, Alexandria világítótorony szerkezetén kívül helyezkedik el. Alexandria a mai napig a turizmus szempontjából nagyon fontos város.
