De uitvinding van de elektriciteit

In de eerste serieuze zin onderzocht de wetenschapper William Gilbert de elektriciteit. Aan het eind van de 16e eeuw onderzocht hij de relatie tussen magnetisme en statische elektriciteit. Het heeft ook bepaald dat elektrische ladingen min heten en plus.
