Ultraljud är den vanligaste metoden vid diagnos av njurar och urinvägar stenar.

 

Ultraljud är en enkel och snabb metod.

 

Därutöver riktar grafi är en ofta använd metod.

 

Även om vi kan identifiera de flesta av stenar i urinvägarna med ultraljud, vi ser inteomkring 10% till 20% av dem i ultraljud.

 

Eftersom de delar som är nära njurarna och urinblåsan kan endast visas med ultraljud.

 

Vi bara se de andra delarna med en X-ray.

 

I den direkta grafi metoden ser vi bara en bråkdel av 50% till 60% av stenarna.

 

Några stenar kan inte visas i röntgen.

 

Vi ser mer än 90% av stenarna i den bildgivande metod som kallas tomografi.

 

Vi göra brukar detta utan intravenös medicinering, men i tveksamma fall är det möjligt att undersöka urinvägarna genom att ge droger från venerna.

 

Det kan också diagnostiseras med radiologiska metoder såsom den medicinerade njure Film (IVP), spiral, datortomografi. Behandlingsplan varierar beroende på läge, antal stenar och diametern på stenarna.
