Ποιοι είναι οι τύποι των οδοντικών προθέσεων;

Οι οδοντικές προθέσεις χωρίζονται σε σταθερές προσθέσεις και κινητές προθέσεις.

Σταθερή πρόθεση: Είναι χωρισμένη σε σταθερή πρόθεση με εμφυτευμένη υποστήριξη και στεφάνη στεφάνης.

Κινητή πρόσθεση: Πλήρης κινούμενη πρόθεση, Μερική κίνηση πρόσθεσης, Κινούμενη πρόθεση με υποστήριξη εμφυτεύματος.


Τα αφαιρούμενα προσθετικά που υποστηρίζονται από εμφύτευμα ταξινομούνται ανάλογα με τους τύπους αρθρώσεων.

Αυτό παρατηρείται σε ασθενείς με εξαιρετική απώλεια της γνάθου. Οι συνολικές προσθέσεις που εφαρμόζονται σε αυτούς τους ασθενείς μπορούν να βγουν από το στόμα του ασθενούς ενώ τρώνε ή μιλάνε.

Όταν εφαρμόζεται μαγνητική πρόθεση, η πρόθεση δεν κινείται. Η κατανάλωση φαγητού και η μάσηση δεν είναι ενοχλητικές. Ανακτά την αυτοπεποίθηση στην κοινωνική ζωή.
