Vem är Alfred Bernhard Nobel?

Alfred Bernhard Nobel (21 oktober 1833 i Stockholm, död 10 December 1896 i SanRemo, Italien), svensk kemist och ingenjör, uppfinnare av dynamit.

 

Han sökte sättet att använda nitroglycerin som ett explosivämne. Han började göraen liten mängd nitroglycerin i Stockholm 1863. Efter några månader av forskning kollapsade labbet med en explosion. Fortsätter sitt arbete, Alfred Nobel grundade enny fabrik i 1865, och efter ett tag, han öppnade sin andra fabrik. 1864 han tog resultaten av sin forskning och hittade dynamit pulvret. Fortsätter sin forskning, har Nobel designat en ny typ av krut som kallas Balistit 1877. 1879 grundade Nobel ett laboratorium i det nära Paris, där han fann den motbjudande Krut, som kallades rökfri Krut under studietiden, bestående av nitrocellulosa blandning av nitroglycerin i lika mängder.

 

Några år senare, han in en stämningsansökan mot den brittiska regeringen på ett explosivämne som kallas kordit, men han förlorade fallet. I en allians mot Frankrike under denna period co-operated Nobel med Italien, lämnar Paris till följd av kampanjerna mot Italien, flyttade till San Remo, dit han flyttade sitt laboratorium.

Nobel dog av hjärnblödning i San Remo 1896. I sin vilja ville han att hans arv ska användas i riktningen av Nobelprisen och 33,2 miljoner kronorna ska presenteras förmänskligheten tjänst varje år.

 

Dessa utmärkelser skulle tilldelas i sammanlagt fem grenar, bland annat fysik, kemi,medicin eller fysiologi, litteratur och fred. Nobel kommer att ha gjort en stor debattföre detta testamentet. Dock år 1900 grundade Nobelpriset i den svenska regeringen Nobelstiftelsen, som gavs regelbundet. Senare i 1968, den svenska banken beslutat att ge en ekonomisk pris till Alfred Nobels minne, och utmärkelsen utdelades första gången 1969.
